‘X-Men: First Class’ Sequel News: Kinberg to Write It

There is not much at all to go off of here, but apparently the studio has contracted out Simon Kinberg to write the next installment of the 1960′s X-Men adaptation.  Kinberg produced First Class so that should please many fans who hate the outsourcing of sequels.

While the movie stumbled out of the gate, it had great retention week-to-week at the box office indicating that word of mouth may have saved this sub-franchise from being one and done.

If made, this would  be the second X-Men film currently in production.  Wolverine will start with Hugh Jackman as soon as he is done with Les Miserables according to Vulture.
