Sam Mendes is a great director with an incredible resume that includes the likes of American Beauty and Road to Perdition, and that is why it does not go unnoticed when he releases a video blog from the set of the next bond film–Skyfall.  In the following video, Mendes talks about his draw to directing an installment in the Bond saga, how he approaches it, and shooting a film in England for the first time in his career.
