The House series finale just got a little bit bigger. Once Upon a Time star Jennifer Morrison has made it official that she will in fact be reprising her role as Dr. Allison Cameron for the show’s final episode. The last time we saw her on the long-running medical drama was at the end of the show’s sixth season in which she finalized her divorce from Chase (Jesse Spencer.)

The actress will be joining Kal Penn, Olivia Wilde, and Amber Tamblyn who are also set to return The circumstances of their reprisals remain shrouded in mystery, but given the contingent of recurring characters the central theme appears to have something to do with death. On that note, perhaps a surprise appearance by Covert Affairs star Anne Dudek aka ‘Cutthoat Bitch’ is in the cards.
As for the obvious one, Lisa Edelstein does not look to be on board to reprise her role as Cuddy. The actress addressed the prospects of a return back in February by telling TV Line, “I haven’t talked to anyone over there so it would seem unlikely. Who knows what I’ll be doing. I have a lot on my plate. I wouldn’t want to answer that and get anyone’s hopes up. It doesn’t seem like that’s the direction anyone is going in.”
The eight-year reign of House officially ends with a two-hour event scheduled for Monday, May 21. The first hour will be a retrospective special with the second being the actual series finale.
