I am getting the sense that this is an all-or-nothing type of game for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer. Either it will blow away expectations or post a meager sum at the box office on par with Snakes on a Plane which also had a title with a viral flair. Considering Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov is at the helm for this one and the movie has book-based origins, I half-heartedly expect the former.
Very early projections have this film going all the way to $53 million at the domestic box office which is rather good for such a gimmicky movie, but not so much considering it cost $70 million to produce. Such a result implies that a large foreign gross would be needed to make up the difference.
Take a look at the latest trailer out for the horror film. It is the first one for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter of the red-band variety.
