There is a new viral sketch out making the rounds this week starring New England Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady and his not-so-New England accent. The bit centers on the future hall of famer’s trip to Dick’s Sporting Goods where he asks a sales associate where something is to which he gets a response that not exactly what he was expecting. Not being native to the region he represents on the field, the athlete becomes puzzled when his ‘wicked Boston accent’ is brought into question.
In the spirit of full disclosure here, Brady joined Under Armour back in 2010 when his deal with Nike expired. The three-time Super Bowl-winner’s contract with the company gave him a share of the company and added him to a company roster that includes Ray Lewis, Lindsey Vonn, and Michael Phelps.
