The Charlie Sheen comeback continues. Not only is his new sitcom debuting later this month, but now the actor has something else to smile about. The Anger Management star has found an off-season project to star in, in the form of Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills.
Sheen’s role will reportedly be that of the president of the United States of America. More specifically, he will be giving Danny Trejo’s character the order to take out a dangerous drug lord who threatens the nation with nuclear weapons.

Other cast members in this heavily anticipated sequel include Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, and Amber Heard. Look for Machete Kills to hit theaters in 2013 where it will try to top its predecessor’s $27 million domestic box office performance on strong buzz from round one.
