Jonah Hill Boards ‘Django Unchained’ as Last Minute Cast Addition

Despite the release of multiple trailers for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, production chugs on and there is some major casting news to report today in regards to the film’s ever-changing ensemble.  It would appear that Jonah Hill has climbed aboard in an unspecified role.  Deadline broke the story and all that they can confirm at this point in time is that he will not be playing the part of Scotty Harmony who sells Django’s wife to Candie.  This will be the second pairing the actor has set up with Leonardo DiCaprio as he is expected to play DiCaprio’s friend and business partner in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street which should shoot later this year.

Hill joins an already stacked cast that includes the likes of Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Samuel L. Jackson.  The film hits theaters on Christmas Day.

Here is the recently released international trailer if you are yet to see it.
