With the upcoming fifth season of Breaking Bad now less than a month away, there is a constant stream of weekly teasers hitting the air and subsequently landing on the internet. The latest one picks up on a plot point that is yet to be tackled in regards to what ever became of Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks.)
For those you who are spacing on who this it, it was Gus Fring’s right hand man who also put Walt (Bryan Cranston) in his place whenever the situation warranted. Now without a boss, the question turns to whether or not he will work with the new ring leaders, and it would appear as if he will indeed take a vacation from duty citing concerns over White’s relative instability.
This year’s run will be shorter than most with only eight episodes as opposed to the typical thirteen, so hopefully that is enough time to set the stage appropriately for the second half of season five which is presumably scheduled for summer 2013. Be sure to tune in for the first new episode of the year on Sunday, July 15.
