Bryan Cranston Addresses ‘Breaking Bad’ Success, Walter White’s Appeal on ‘Kimmel’

Still on the promotional tour for the new season of Breaking Bad, three-time Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night for what best can be described as a love fest for the actor’s AMC drama.  The entire interview seemed to focus on the series which many will undoubtedly see as a good thing.

Jimmy opened the interview by acknowledging Breaking Bad’s big ratings win over the weekend.  The host hypothesized the show was surging because of people like him who love the program, but ultimately Cranston gives the nod to ‘internet hits’ which most likely is in reference to the series’ streamability on Netflix.  The conversation then shifts to the show’s main character Walter White and how he is a not your traditional protagonist.

Also mentioned in the interview was a nod to the pizza-on-roof scene in the show from a few season’s back and Aaron Paul’s payphone call-in hour via Twitter.  One more reason to follow the supporting actor on the social network?
