First Clip for ‘Breaking Bad’ Season 5 Ties Up Loose Ends

There is a new clip out for the upcoming fifth season of Breaking Bad that is worth most fans’ attention.  It looks as if answers came early courtesy of Walt, Jr. (RJ Mitte) who talks his dad’s ear off in ‘can you believe what happened?!’ fashion.

Essentially, the kid goes into an in-depth rant about how the DEA believes the hit has been lifted off of Hank (Dean Norris) and that the now deceased Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) was the big meth ring leader all long.  Technically, he was 100% right with all of this; however, his obliviousness to his father’s profession is wearing a bit thin after four seasons.

Unfortunately, even with this information that still leaves the audience devoid of an answer as to how and why Walt (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse (Aaron Paul) start cooking again, but we know from the last trailer that Mike (Jonathan Banks) is back and reluctant to help out which leaves nothing too major to discover.  There is always the inevitable blowback from Walt deliberately poisoning a kid to manipulate his partner; however, nobody expects that to come into focus immediately.

We are now less than two weeks away from the series’ 2012 return that will see the show air another eight episodes.  This is the final season, but the remaining eight episodes probably will not air until next summer.  Nonetheless, a few more answers are to be had, so be on the lookout.

The clip is an exclusive to Entertainment Weekly.
