First Full Theatrical Trailer for the Next Bond Film: ‘Skyfall’

Sam Mendes is certainly channeling his inner Christopher Nolan for Skyfall because that is exactly what we are seeing from the first full theatrical trailer for the next bond movie.  The 23rd installment of the long-running series will aim to take things up a notch with a more petrifying villain played by Javier Bardem and an all-out attack on MI6 in London.

This is is actually really close to what we saw in The Dark Knight Rises and I am sure the comparisons will drop once the movie releases into theaters, but all we are missing is a toe-to-toe fight between 007 and Silva and a Tale of Two Cities comparison at the moment.  That is not to say this is a bad thing.  In fact, this probably fits the Bond universe more than it did Batman which is giving many people hope that Skyfall could actually be better than, dare I say, Casino Royale.

Cast members include Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, and Ola Rapace.  Skyfall releases into theaters nationwide on November 9.

Updated: The international trailer has become available. There is little bit of new footage, but it is pretty much the same promo overall.
