First Official Trailer for ‘The Oranges’ Starring Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie’s film career is about to get a sizable boost by his first non-animated feature appearance since 2008′s Street Kings.  There is a movie coming down the pipe from Julian Farino (The Office, Entourage) which stars the actor as the patriarch of the Walling family.  More specifically, the House actor plays a cradle robber who enters into an affair with his best friend’s daughter.  This provides huge and hilarious ramifications for two suburban families on Orange Drive.

The movie is meant to be a rom-com, but it more so appears like a classic indie dramedy that some might find much more appealing.  On top of that, the cast is quite palatable as it includes Allison Janney (The Help,) Adam Brody (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World,) Oliver Platt (X-Men: First Class,) Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl,) and Catherine Keener (Cyrus.)

The Oranges is expected to arrive in theaters before the end of the year.
