Joseph Gordon-Levitt is probably one of the best actors around for promoting new movies. Not only does he hit the points, but he loves his work and it shows. He was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to plug The Dark Knight Rises where he used his time wisely by showing a little affection for another project coming down the pipe called Looper. That particular film has the actor playing a younger version of Bruce Willis complete with prosthetics to help him capture a younger version of his co-star.
While that Rian Johnson-directed movie may not come out until September 28, Gordon-Levitt can of course be caught in The Dark Knight Rises which lands in theaters nationwide this Friday. He talks up the films IMAX footage and surrounding ensemble as well as what it is like to work with Christopher Nolan’s crew once more. Probably the most interesting part of that portion of the interview comes when Gordon-Levitt flat out calls 3D gimmick and shares an anecdote courtesy of Mickey Rourke.
