Sally Field took to Today this morning to promote The Amazing Spider-Man. In this round with the super hero, the actress has the role of Aunt May which could mean that we will possibly see her for many years to come as Sony is already prepping an Andrew Garfield-lead sequel.
Here is her interview from early Monday morning which is actually rather compelling as she acknowledges having worked with Martin Sheen on a previous movie, but refused to talk about her pivotal role in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming Lincoln biopic alongside Daniel Day-Lewis. The appearance ended with the veteran actress sitting in misery as her previous gigs were flashed up on screen during a little word association segment. Field notoriously does not like watching herself act as you might gather from the fact that she is yet to see her latest film.
