Both stars of The Campaign showed up on The Daily Show last night to promote their new Jay Roach-directed movie. This is the first talk show appearance Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis have done together, making this somewhat of a treat for fans of the comedy tandem. There is not a whole lot of talk about the film, but it ends up being pretty hilarious as the two gang up on Jon Stewart for his lame interview questions. If that was not enough, there is a Jon Hamm cameo for no apparent reason at all.
There is also a clip at the front-end of the appearance that is an extended version of the baby punching scene that audiences previously have seen via the film’s trailer. The Campaign hits theaters nationwide on August 10.
