It did not take Arnold Schwarzenegger long to shift back into acting mode following his stint as Governor of California. The action star has a number of projects coming up (most notably this week’s opener The Expendables 2) which should keep him busy until 2014. One of the more intriguing pictures though is The Last Stand from director Jee-woon Kim.
The film will have the actor playing a law enforcement officer who moves out to a small town once he blows a big narcotics operation in L.A. Little does he know that his new-found mundane life would soon need his skills learned from long ago when a drug cartel leader makes a run for the Mexican border.
Forest Whitaker is also in this feature as an FBI agent which releases into theaters on January 18, 2013. Until a trailer comes out, you can check out the following poster courtesy of IGN.
