Bradley Cooper Boards ‘Bad Blood and Trouble’ as Miami Detective

Not only does Bradley Cooper have as many as four movies coming out by year’s end, but he also has a number of projects in-development including one he just added today.  Variety is reporting that the actor is in talks to join the cast of Bad Blood and Trouble from director J Blakeson.  While Blakeson may not be well known, he did helm The Disappearance of Alice Creed a few years ago which was fairly well-received among critics.

In regards to Bad Blood and Trouble, the movie is a Miami-based crime thriller set in the 1950′s.  Cooper will be playing a detective who falls in love with the wife of someone being targeted by criminals.  This definitely sounds intriguing and while we cannot wait to hear more on it, shooting will not begin for another year so we will not hold our breath.

As alluded to earlier, Cooper has kept quite busy since the release of The Hangover Part II. The actor can next be seen in the Dax Shepard action comedy Hit and Run which lands in theaters August 22, but he also has two other films certain to release by the changing of the calendar year.  In September, he can be seen in the plagiarism drama The Words and then two months later Silver Linings Playbook hits theaters in which he co-stars alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro.

Beyond that he can be seen in The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, and Rose Byrne, but that crime drama is yet to receive a U.S. release date so it could easily slide a ways and join Cooper’s 2013 offerings.  Those include Serena (also with Jennifer Lawrence) and David O. Russell’s Abscam movie in addition to The Hangover Part III.
