The central storyline for Showtime’s Homeland this year promises to center around Nicholas Brody’s (Damian Lewis) rise to power within the United States government. We have not seen much of that in season one, but it certainly was alluded to at the end of the series’ first run so it has been widely expected for a while that, that will take center stage when the show returns for round two. There is a new teaser trailer out this week that promises just that complete with a creepy looking Claire Danes (pictured above) to cap things off. Mandy Patinkon’s Saul Berenson has the voice over.
Homeland returns for its second season on Sunday, September 30.
