Through the years, there have been many comedic parodies of Star Wars. Some authorized, some not, but more recently there were a few incredibly well done official ones courtesy of Family Guy and Robot Chicken which has many wanting more. Well, that day has come as the animated genre has finally received a full blown series for such an offering. Robot Chicken creator Seth Green in collaboration with George Lucas has created a new show called Star Wars: Detours.
As of right now, there is no network set to air this thus the absence of a premiere date; however, a trailer is now out to show us what audiences have to look forward to once those are nailed down. Judging from this first promotional look, the best fit is Adult Swim, but obviously there could be interest elsewhere.
