One of the barriers to jumping right in the middle of a franchise (particularly one that is vastly improved) is the interconnected plotlines with any given film’s direct predecessors. Thankfully, prospective moviegoers for Resident Evil: Retribution should not be having that problem come fall as there is a new featurette out chronicling the constant battle between Alice (Milla Jovovich) and the evil Umbrella Corporation.
For those not up to date, the latest Paul W.S. Anderson-directed horror actioner will have Alice fighting alongside a resistance movement in the continuing battle against Umbrella and the undead.
Resident Evil: Retribution releases into theaters nationwide on September 14.
