Hey, look! It’s a Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows reunion. Well, sort of. The two female leads from that film, Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace, have teamed up to do a thriller called Passion. Femme Fatale and The Black Dahlia director Brian De Palma is at the helm so it is safe to say he knows what to do with female leads which has us a bit excited.
At its core, the film is about power and that is expressed through the dog-eat-dog world of international business. Specific plot details center around the two characters’ relationship with Rapace filling the role of protege Isabelle James. While McAdams’ Christine manages to steal ideas, Isabelle crosses the line by stealing Christine’s lover. Passion is being described as an erotic thriller.
There is no word on a release date just yet.
