The following picture from the set of The Tomb is nothing we have not seen before. It actually first appeared via an ET preview from their profiling of the movie weeks ago, but it is worth taking a look at for those of you who might have missed it. To the left, we have Arnold Schwarzenegger looking tough and…grey while to the right we see Rocky Balboa himself just chilling. They are both looking at something of which we have no context to go by, so the easy money is on ‘prison beat down.’
For those of you unfamiliar with the project, it will be the action stars’ second collaboration together (when excluding the cameo from the first Expendables film.) The Tomb follows Sylvester Stallone’s Ray Breslin who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. In a bit of irony, he is falsely imprisoned in the very lockup he helped design.
Naturally, this is very much your classic ‘escape and get revenge’ offering. Nothing brings that point home more than the casting of Person of Interest star Jim Caviezel in a supporting role. Some of you may recall the actor had a starring role in the 2002 remake of The Count of Monte Cristo.
