Will Ferrell has been out promoting The Campaign and he had yet another hilarious appearance tonight, perhaps even better than the one he did with Zach Galifianakis on The Daily Show with that Jon Hamm cameo. This time around, the Anchorman star discussed his sadness following the news that Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson. Apparently, he has no idea what this means for the Twilight franchise and the actor no longer has faith that the two will get back together. According to Farrell, Kristen Stewart is a ‘Trampire.’
In all seriousness, the actor has a new movie coming out in about a week called The Campaign in which he plays an incumbent congressman trying to win reelection when he is challenged by newcomer Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) who throws a wrench into his plans. Both characters have presidential aspirations in this R-rated comedy from director Jay Roach.
The Campaign releases into theaters nationwide on August 10.
