J.J. Abrams Talks ‘Revolution’ on ‘Jimmy Fallon’

Super producer J.J. Abrams who helped bring the world LostFringe, and the beloved Star Trek update was on Fallon Friday night.  The A-list director is out promoting his newest television series called Revolution which is about what would happen if the power all of a sudden just shut off.  As the Abrams way, he did not shed light on any of the secrets of the show although he did talk about how the series came about via series creator Eric Kripke who also backed Supernatural.

Sorry to disappoint, but mums the word on the new Star Trek movie which just received its title, Star Trek Into Darkness.  Expect another round of promotion from J.J. next May when the feature finally hits theaters.  Word on the street is that more information on that blockbuster might not even drop until February, so fans should be patient on that and in the meantime watch Revolution and the final season of Fringe to get their Abrams fix.  Iron Man helmer Jon Favreau directed the pilot episode.

Revolution premieres Monday on NBC.
