Matthew Perry Promotes ‘Go On’ via ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

While it is too early to say Matthew Perry is saving NBC, it is certainly worth acknowledging that no other scripted program on the network has better ratings than Go On.  Riding a demo rating in the 3.0′s right now, the freshman comedy is pretty much guaranteed a second season at the broadcaster even though this number was posted against lackluster competition and with the benefit of The Voice as its lead-in.  Translation: This is a show Matthew Perry should be very proud to promote and perhaps that is why we are seeing the extra round of press via the actor’s appearance last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Topics of conversation revolved around who the Friends alum follows on Twitter and his love of hockey.  He also brings a photo along with him of the Stanley Cup in his back yard.

Go On airs Tuesday nights on NBC.
