Game of Thrones won a Creative Emmy for special effects over the weekend, so why not celebrate by looking at some of the show’s handy work in season two? Here is a brand new behind-the-scenes video on the topic that features an in-depth look at the visuals put into action during the beloved series’ sophomore run including a brief display of what went into making the infamous Battle of Blackwater episode.
Just a heads up, the Primetime Emmys are set to air this coming Sunday where the show is nominated for a few awards. Game of Thrones seeks recognition in the category of Outstanding Drama and Best Support Actor (Peter Dinklage.) Dinklage actually won last year, so he will be looking to repeat.
The third season of Game of Thrones is expected to premiere in Spring 2013.
