The X Factor is off to a lackadaisical start in the ratings and even lost in the one-hour head-to-head it had with The Voice last week, but Simon Cowell is not about to throw in the towel just yet. He was on Conan last night with fellow judge Demi Lovato where they talked about their new chemistry, a comparison between their show and the competition, and more. The surprising thing about this interview is that Simon says he likes the show a whole lot better than last year which might sound odd considering last year featured bigger ratings and his long-time buddy Paula Abdul.
The X Factor airs on Wednesday and Thursday nights on Fox.
