One of the more interesting projects to come along in quite some time has to be Cloud Atlas. Hailing from a best-selling book by David Mitchell, the Wachowski-directed feature sports an A-grade cast for some time hopping science fiction drama. Because of the uniqueness of this property, it almost could not find a studio and even now it struggles to promote itself due to this very problem. Apparently, those in charge of distribution at Warner Bros. have decided the best way to advertise is to screen large amounts of the film before hand which is why today moviegoers are privy to the following advance clip.
This new footage shows Tom Hanks’ character expressing fondness for the individual he just met right before his plane explodes. More specifically, he talks about a strange connection transcendent of time with a character played by Halle Berry. Both stars help to anchor the film with multiple identities throughout its length.
Cloud Atlas hits theaters on October 26.
