Fresh off his performance in the direct-to-iTunes release of Bachelorette, Adam Scott took to Conan where he was promoting the fifth season premiere of Parks & Recreation. On that topic, he told a neat little story about how his kid would hock his DVD’s out and ask people to watch the show, but the takeaway from this appearance is that the actor used to be a huge film geek. The key phrase there of course is ‘used to be’ as when presented with movie trivia by the talk show host, Scott struck out big time going only one for four.
Another clip from the appearance featured a nod to his supporting role in Step Brothers. When the film came out, Scott was seldom seen in anything, so a whole lot of people who recently caught it again probably realized ‘hey, isn’t that the guy from Parks & Recreation‘ unless they did something crazy like try to memorize the video box…
