The last time Barack Obama visited The Daily Show, the appearance went with very little fanfare. Do not expect that same reception come next week when the President returns on the Jon Stewart-hosted late night program for the sixth time. A big microscrope will be held over everything the man has to say which is perhaps why we want to tune in more than ever before. The questions will presumably include nods at the man’s soft performance in the first Presidential debate as well as next week’s follow-up which will be held on Tuesday night. As always, you can look for the interview online the day after, but judging from the ratings The Daily Show has been getting for the run-up to the year’s big election, I expect a lot of people to watch this one live.
Hit the jump for the president’s previous appearance as well as the press release announcing his upcoming interview.
