Denzel Washington is now out promoting his new film Flight which has received some pretty good reviews. While the film’s setup of a drunk pilot saving a plane full of people is fairly unique, it is definitely not the type of feature that led to the actor’s high grosses in the recent past.
Fear not as the movie is being sold a much different way as the studio is going the awards route in that they believe the drama has a lot of quality acting and circumstance in it that is worthy of recognition. This may be very reminiscent of how we feel about the moderately successful Argo, but that one was actually a true story thus the extra allure. We will see how this one turns up on November 2 when it hits theaters nationwide. For now, here is the man’s appearance on The Tonight Show.
