The buzz for Skyfall is heating up immensely as the first reviews are out now proclaiming Sam Mendes’ Bond film to be the best installment in the series fifty-year history. Of course, prior to today we had to take the critics’ word for it as we have previously only witnessed clips that did not show much aside from out of context glimpses.
Now, audiences are privy to the first real look at Javier Bardem as the villainous Raoul Silva who has a very Joker-like moment suggesting his performance will be of the near-iconic variety. We knew this when he was initially cast, and now we have validation. Watch as he blows up a ceiling in order to send a train at 007.
