The Emmy’s aka the television award show that actually matters will be hosted by CBS next year. While the hosting gig remains up for grabs, the broadcaster has already announced an air date. This live ceremony will take place from the Nokia Theatre on September 22, 2013. The next we hear about this will probably when a host or hosts are selected, but right now the obvious choice is a star from one of the network’s programs. That is pretty unfortunate, but then again they do have the acceptable option of Neil Patrick Harris which they regularly tap to front the Tonys.
CBS’s broadcast of the 65TH PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS, which recognizes outstanding television programming, has been scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 from NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
