Check out this little video Fox put out on their Animation Domination Youtube channel. The piece features The Simpsons character Mr. Burns as voiced by Harry Shearer endorsing Mitt Romney for President. Of course, this was already suspected because he historically has been a Republican figure on the show, but this is definitely going to draw ire from those who suspect the long-running animated series of bias considering Mr. Smithers reminds the world of all these negative things that the GOP candidate for President would have to overcome to win.
Let’s be honest though and realize that in most places in America, this sort of political satire is not as polarizing as one might imagine. Just take Joss Whedon’s like-minded video for instance which received 90% likes.
