A sneak preview has been posted online for the second season finale of Homeland airing next weekend. The episode is said to deal with the emotional angles of a relationship between Damian Lewis’ Brody and Claire Danes’ Carrie which is finally free of barriers. What the show’s producers have not explained yet is how that will move back into the thriller aspects of this series and everything seems tied off at the moment to the point of ‘too good to be true.’ Sure, the CIA wants the Congressman assassinated, but the terror cell is now gone and Carrie is at her sanest moment all season long. For Homeland standards, that is definitely peace time. That said, these clips show us nothing in the vein of what will actually be happening in the finale episode if anything does because they focus on dialogue pertaining to the just-mentioned relationship between Carrie and Brody.
