The advance clips have just landed for next weekend’s seventh season finale of Dexter. Audiences expect the outing to help segue into the show’s eighth and final year on the air, but for the most part they also want a bit of closure which is usually captured in the death of a principal antagonist to wrap things up. Seeing how that was already taken care of, there is only hope that something satisfying will occur without yet another monster cliffhanger. Here is the footage which includes Dexter (Michael C. Hall) contemplating going on the run and a showdown between Jennifer Carpenter’s Debra and Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah McKay.
The season finale of Dexter airs on Sunday, December 16.
