Alas, a premiere date has been announced for the much-anticipated fourth season of Arrested Development. The cult classic comedy that Fox cancelled long ago has since found legs at Netflix which most fans are probably aware of, but there remained quite a few questions surrounding the property’s revival concerning the new season’s returning format, length, and premiere date. Wonder no more because we now have concrete answers for all of that.
The series will roll out as originally intended with episodes specific to the program’s characters to help build a puzzle before any big screen feature. A list of titles has been released to validate the format (which you can see after the jump.) These 14 installments will debut all at once beginning May 4, 2013 according to Fox’s publicity site which inadvertently spilled the beans before scrapping its announcement.
