Thanks to EW we have our first set photos for ABC’s Avengers spin-off series S.H.I.E.L.D. in a series of posts I’ll be nicknaming “Aw, The Media Is Not Really Going to Cover This Like a Tentpole Movie Are They?” The first pic (above) comes from co-writer Maurissa Tancharoen who nabbed director Joss Whedon between takes. No, he is not on-camera for the show, but if they did not tell us this was Whedon we would certainly be analyzing this picture for further details on the shadowy antagonist. The second photo (below) is a S.H.I.E.L.D. truck not unlike what was seen in the opening sequence of The Avengers. It may not be the same without Loki riding out the back, but go ahead and use your imagination.
There is no air date for the show just yet, and details remains centered around ‘what the producers hope to accomplish’ so stay tuned for all that information in the near future.
