Not to be confused with Netflix’s new Kevin Spacey-led drama House of Cards, Showtime has a comedy that tends to do pretty well in the ratings despite its low-key nature called House of Lies. The show found its lead Don Cheadle a Golden Globe just last month in addition to further critical accolades with its second season which premiered the same night. Not long after, it was confirmed that Matt Damon would be making a cameo appearance on the program this currently season, but few details were divulged at that time. Now we know that he will be playing himself as a maniacal megastar version of himself who wants to be able to compete with George Clooney. The episode will air this coming Sunday.
