Another day, another ridiculously over the top trailer for NBC’s Hannibal. The series starring Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, and Mads Mikkelson is definitely one of the more anticipated broadcast arrivals in some time. Despite the two’s similarities, this might be even more talked about than The Following which premiered on Fox in February. Ultimately, this is going to be a little more than a Laurence Fishburne casting coup as the former CSI-er continues to find work on other networks. Get ready for public discussion of ‘is this too violent for broadcast?’ We at least know they want it though because Fox’s Kevin Bacon-led series has already been renewed.
Hannible premiered on Thursday, April 4 via NBC.
