Tom Cruise’s first big sci-fi movie since 2005′s War of the Worlds is poised to be April’s biggest film by a wide margin (which says more about the competition,) so it is definitely worth acknowledging featurette number one as that just landed in our laps. The footage has Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski and his leading man talking up the blockbuster’s setting and a story to help set the tone. For those who are on the fence because they thought Tron was not as good as it should have been, keep in mind that was Kosinski’s directorial debut and Disney made him do it PG. This is PG-13 so expect this one to play a lot better with adults even if it shares the same genre vibes.
Oblivion hits theaters nationwide on April 19.
