‘The Dictator’ Opens Below Expectations On Wednesday
Perhaps Sacha Baron Cohen and Paramount overdid it a little with their marketing efforts in the run up to the release for The Dictator. A Super Bowl ad and a series of viral talk show appearances did not exactly translate into box office gold as the comedy opened to a meager $4.2 million on Wednesday.
