Check out the very first trailer for August: Osage County. This movie is about the lives of the strong-willed women of the Weston family as a crisis brings them back to the Midwest house they grew up in. The cast is led by Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts with supporting roles going to Benedict Cumberbatch, Ewan McGregor, Abigail Breslin, Chris Cooper, Dermot Mulroney, and Sam Shepard. Release is set for November 8.

Today, audiences get their first look at a trailer for Alfonso Cuaron’s sci-fi pic Gravity, and it is certainly an unconventional first look to say the least. This is more of a sneak peek clip than a trailer in that the whole movie is not being sold to audiences, but rather the premise of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney floating around in space after a bit of a disaster. Think of this as a survival thriller with this footage being the first act. 
Now that we know the Coen Brothers’ next movie is coming out in December after premiering at Cannes, a fresh red-band trailer has emerged for Inside Llewyn Davis. The film follows a singer-songwriter as he navigates New York’s folk music scene in the 1960s. Stars include Oscar Isaac, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, and Carey Mulligan. 
The first trailer has arrived for Tom Hanks next film Captain Phillips. This is a contemporary feature about piracy from director Paul Greengrass who is best known from helming the last two Matt Damon-Bourne movies. This is also the guy who is said to be Damon’s choice if he is to reprise his character which is why every time the director finishes a project, we look to see where Universal is on the franchise. Could this be when things finally get underway for a fourth Jason Bourne movie. 
The trailer has finally made it to the web for Edgar Wright’s third Simon Pegg-Nick Frost partnership, The World’s End. This is the director’s last movie before he goes off to work on Ant-Man, so we will paying close attention to the release. The idea of another Pegg-Frost joint might be good at the box office, but the man’s talent behind the camera is really what draws us in. Its plot follows five friends reuniting two decades later to re-experience an epic pub crawl and in the process, they unwittingly become the only hope for humanity’s survival. 
There has been a whole lot of hype surrounding Lee Daniels’ follow-up to The Paperboy and now we can see if it was all for not. The first trailer has arrived for The Butler starring Forest Whitaker as Eugene Allen–the White House’s head butler who served eight presidents from 1952-1986. Its core themes are said to be political and racial as supporting players will tell the stories in front of Allen’s eyes. Those actors include Robin Williams, James Marsden, Oprah Winfrey, Melissa Leo, John Cusack, Terrence Howard, Liev Schreiber, Minka Kelly, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Jane Fonda. 
It is going to be a very busy month of November with sequels to both Thor and The Hunger Games, but look out because there might be a dark horse kicking it all off. Summit released the very first full-length trailer for Ender’s Game today, a sci-fi film based on the Orson Wells novel that stars Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield, Abigail Breslin, Hailee Steinfeld, and Ben Kingsley. In other words, this is a pretty big picture that will almost assuredly make some noise.

We have seen many teasers these past few weeks, but HBO has finally released an official footage-filled trailer for the sixth season of True Blood. The takeaway? Expect the vampire-human war to escalate as if fans did not know that already… 
There is a brand-new Ray Donovan trailer to look at today. It seems like the marketing materials for Showtime’s latest drama have been endless thus far, but now that several more non-pilot episodes are in the can, there is new footage to explore. For the most part, those scenes seem centered on an extended relationship between Ray (Liev Schreiber) and his father played by Jon Voight. Perhaps we should grow to expect him to have a much bigger part in this series than originally thought. There is still no James Woods though even as he is set to recur throughout the series’ freshman run. 
Here it is, the second trailer for White House Down. The last one was merely a teaser to produce a little awareness after Olympus Has Fallen and hopefully tell people ‘hey, we are not a knockoff.’ This is the real deal though with a full 150 seconds of footage from Roland Emmerich’s latest disaster film. Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx have the lead roles. 
The premiere trailer has just arrived for Kristen Wiig’s first starring vehicle since departing Saturday Night Live. The movie is called Girl Most Likely and it stars the improv actor opposite Annette Bening as a playwright who suffers from a nervous break. She subsequently moves in with her mother (Bening) and hilarity ensues. Matt Dillon is in this one as well. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini directed.

Check out the latest and greatest trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. The film’s plot has Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, and a whole lot more working for a military division aimed at piloting mammoth robots to beat back Godzilla-like aliens. It is weird, but the trailers are playing really well, and Legendary Pictures has already decided this will be a hit so they began writing the sequel back in February. Now, that is a vote of confidence given the blockbuster does not release until five months later.
