Late Night with Jimmy Fallon had on CNN anchor and daytime talk show host Anderson Cooper Tuesday evening where he participated in a new game to the program called Rock, Paper, Scissors, Pie. On the hopes of growing its audience, Anderson Cooper’s talk show has gotten a second season renewal very early on into its freshman season. Ratings are in the just ‘okay’ at the moment, but growth is expected for this show going forward. With a slew of new daytime competition in the coming years that include the likes of Steve Harvey, Katie Couric, and Jeff Probst that audience expansion might be difficult to find.
Today the Halloween, so naturally it was a costume affair on Anderson today. The host dressed up as Phil Donahue to pay homage to who he perceives to be one of the founding fathers of daytime talk, and coincidentally Phil Donahue just happened to be there.
