Anger Management airs Thursday nights of FX.
The cable channel has just revealed that they will be airing 45 episodes a year with almost every Thursday night featuring a new episode for the next two years. That’s right. Less than two months out from the return of Anger Management to FX and on the heels of a 90-episode order for the series, Charlie Sheen has seen fit to casually extend an offer to his former co-star to join the program saying, “My former nephew is welcome at the Goodson Anger Management home anytime.” He would be the second high-profile addition to the show since its inception as Charlie’s own father Martin Sheen has been added in a recurring role near the end of the show’s first season. Today we focus on Charlie’s most recent talk show interview where he addressed the rumors that he may become an American Idol judge. Much to our amusement, the actor never even heard from the reality series’ producers in the first place making this purely a piece of tabloid fiction. He reportedly thought it was wise to send out his terms to the press anyways just in case the folks at Fox wanted to buy in, but ultimately it sounds like a horrible idea so this should put those rumors to bed. Lindsay Lohan has already grabbed herself another gig to follow-up the almost assuredly disappointing movie The Canyons. The actress will be reuniting with Scary Movie 5 cameo artist Charlie Sheen in the sitcom star’s FX comedy Anger Management. This role is said to be that of love interest following an initial stint as Charlie’s patient. So what do we think of LiLo the sitcom star? Well, it could not possibly be as bad as her dramatic vehicles so why not? Oh, and let’s not forget there’s a double end to all this. Anger Management has only had so-so ratings as of late which is what happens when you’re a multi-camera sitcom airs on a network known for its single-camera dramas. Repeats should loom large, but this might give the show just the type of boost it needs to keep rolling in originals.
Charlie Sheen visited The Tonight Show last night, perhaps to bolster the sagging ratings of his FX comedy Anger Management in addition to promotion for Charles Swan. The show is in the midst of its 45-episode second season which will air pretty much non-stop until the next year, but Nielsen data communicated a lack of enthusiasm for the CBS-style comedy even with the full-time addition of his real-life father Martin Sheen. Hopefully Leno helps because if not, those super low licensing fees will look like even less of a bargain to the program’s cable home going forward. 
Charlie Sheen took to Jimmy Fallon last night to drum up buzz for the return of his FX comedy Anger Management. The show does not even come close to Two and a Half Men’s ratings, but it performed well enough to trigger a 90-episode order which the cable network will air 
Just to solidify things, FX has confirmed return dates for Justified and Anger Management in addition to those for Archer and Totally Biased. Justified will find its way back on the small screen as early as January 8th, but the surprise here might be the early return of Anger Management only nine days later. The Charlie Sheen-led program is pumping out episode after episode following the receipt of a 90-episode order which Lionsgate has said they will accelerate production on, giving the show’s cable home flexibility in when they would like to air them. FX is getting good first-run viewership with Anger Management, but the money will be in replays which is why there is incentive for the network to air as many episodes a year as they can. Replaying ten episodes over and over again is not exactly a big audience draw. 
As expected, FX went through with the 90-episode order of Anger Management they were on the hook for as it was announced today that the show has met the obligated ratings goal to trigger the deal. What this means is that Lionsgate will move forward with supplying some 40 episodes a year to the cable network and presumably start working out broadcast syndication deals.
Less than two weeks ago, it was announced that 
Charlie Sheen has had no problems bringing in people he has known or worked with in the past for his new FX series. This was best evidenced when even his ex-wife Denise Richards showed up for an episode earlier this season, but what we are hearing today is a bit beyond that. Word is that Charlie’s real life father Martin Sheen has been set to become a series regular as the actor’s on-screen father.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon welcome Charlie Sheen back to the show on Monday evening. The actor is out promoting his soon-to-premiere FX series Anger Management, so naturally that warranted a sit-down with Fallon as he partook in a few sketched with the host over the past year.
