Yesterday, we got a good look at two character posters for Red 2 coming out on July 19, and today brings two more. The stars this time around are Helen Mirren’s Victoria and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Miranda Wood.

Side Effects‘ plot looks to revolve around Lively’s character who is seemingly addicted to prescription pills as she awaits the prison release of her husband which will be played by Tatum. Law and Jones will both be playing her doctors. Catherine Zeta-Jones will next be seen in another star-studded movie–Rock of Ages. That film stars Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, and Bryan Cranston among others in a cinematic version of a hit musical with a 1980′s rock music backdrop. Look for that one to release on June 1. [Deadline]
Alec Baldwin was all set to do Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages, but now it looks as if he is dropping out of the film. Baldwin was set to play Dennis Dupree, the owner of the Bourbon Room, the Sunset Boulevard nightclub at the center of the movie. The cast for the film remains pretty stacked with a cast list that includes Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta. The plot according to IMDB is ‘a smalltown girl arrives in Hollywood at the height of the 1980′s rock scene,’ and the musical is said to include hit music from Styx, Bon Jovi, and Journey among others. Look for the film to hit theaters June 1, 2012. Since low-budget psychological thrillers are really difficult to promote, we are not at all shocked to see a third trailer released for Steven Soderbergh’s follow-up to Magic Mike. While there may not be a whole lot more new footage to show (if there is at all,) here is the latest cut for those of you obsessed with the director who has been heard loud and clear about his intentions to leave the hell that is film production for the small screen. The next pic audiences will see from the Oceans trilogy director will be one for HBO Films called Behind the Candelabra starring Matt Damon and Michael Douglas. 
Catherine Zeta-Jones may have skipped press for the Mark Wahlberg flop Broken City, but she certainly looks to be out to promote her next effort, Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects. The movie stars Channing Tatum and Prometheus star Rooney Mara as a couple forced to deal with the unwanted consequences of prescription pill abuse. Whose fault is it? The doctor or the user? 
Opening this December is a little sports dramedy starring Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel. The Gabriele Muccino-directed film is called Playing for Keeps and it centers around a divorced former soccer player who is on the path to redemption which is riddled with roadblocks that include gorgeous soccer moms who have the hots for him. The choice at hand? Being a good father or Catherine Zeta-Jones. Tough decision.
This may be the last stage of the week-long talk show tour by Catherine Zeta-Jones for Rock of Ages. 
It has been a while since we have had any news in regards to the sequel to Red, but that all changed as just yesterday Summit announced that Catherine Zeta-Jones would be joining the film along with Byung-Hun Lee who plays Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe movies. 
Among reports that Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects is losing its financing, the film is still in full blown casting mode as Catherine Zeta-Jones is in negotiations to join the cast of the next star-studded feature from its critically acclaimed director. The actress joins Blake Lively, Jude Law and Channing Tatum who are already attached to the movie.
This is the first trailer for the Rock of Ages feature film starring Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, and a whole lot more recognizable actors. The movie will come out on June 1, 2012.
