Yesterday, we got a good look at two character posters for Red 2 coming out on July 19, and today brings two more. The stars this time around are Helen Mirren’s Victoria and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Miranda Wood.
Side Effects‘ plot looks to revolve around Lively’s character who is seemingly addicted to prescription pills as she awaits the prison release of her husband which will be played by Tatum. Law and Jones will both be playing her doctors. Catherine Zeta-Jones will next be seen in another star-studded movie–Rock of Ages. That film stars Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, and Bryan Cranston among others in a cinematic version of a hit musical with a 1980′s rock music backdrop. Look for that one to release on June 1. [Deadline]
Alec Baldwin was all set to do Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages, but now it looks as if he is dropping out of the film. Baldwin was set to play Dennis Dupree, the owner of the Bourbon Room, the Sunset Boulevard nightclub at the center of the movie. The cast for the film remains pretty stacked with a cast list that includes Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta. The plot according to IMDB is ‘a smalltown girl arrives in Hollywood at the height of the 1980′s rock scene,’ and the musical is said to include hit music from Styx, Bon Jovi, and Journey among others. Look for the film to hit theaters June 1, 2012.
