Gwyneth Paltrow’s press tour took to Ellen yesterday for a segment that made air today. While visiting the show, she once again was confronted with being named People’s Most-Beautiful Woman and received more questions about her wardrobe choice for Wednesday night’s premiere of Iron Man 3. One of the new fan favorite cast members to come out of SNL these past few years is featured player Kate McKinnon. The improv actress has made quite a name for herself since debuting on the long-running sketch series, showcasing impressions such as Jodie Foster and Edie Falco. That said, lets take a look at her very first talk show appearance ever thanks to Ellen DeGeneres, a stand-up comic she too impersonates. It was some good stuff as the sitdown included talk of the Saturday Night Live audition process and a scheme her mother had that would allow her to meet Ellen long before making it big. Part two of the conversation consisted of McKinnon busting out her impersonation of the host much to our delight 
The Friends reunion seems to be all that anyone could talk about today and how it would not be happening. Interestingly enough, Jennifer Aniston got a whiff of the fan spirit for such an occasion on Ellen today where she taped a segment airing tomorrow. I am not sure what she is promoting but she does have a comedy coming out in August called We’re the Millers. Several celebrities have visited the daytime talk show in recent weeks to promote their summer projects as Ellen does not air originals during those months. Instead, they opt to replay timely appearances like the one made 
Because Ellen airs repeats in the summer, it is was worth the Sandman’s efforts to take to the daytime talk show before the end of the season to promote his new movie. The comedy is called Grown Ups and it will not be out for another three months. Nonetheless, this is a brand that is very good to him as the original made over $200 million in 2010. You can tell his expectations from who he brought along with him to the interview, fellow cast members Salma Hayek, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, and David Spade.

Kristen Bell was on Ellen this week promoting the on-going second season of House of Lies. She said nothing of note about the series, but the reason we take notice today is because last year when on the show the actress talked about her full-on sloth meltdown. This time, we get to see her actually re-live the moment by meeting Lola the sloth. How crazy is Kristen Bell about sloths? She actually knew there was one named Lola in the LA area. 
Mark Wahlberg is still out promoting Broken City as he took his press tour to Ellen this week. In a segment taped yesterday, he talked about a number of things including his toe surgery and losing at the Golden Globes yet again. On that note, he still has not seen Homeland as the series is a ratings competitor for Boardwalk Empire. To be fair, when you talk about 2 million viewers per episode, they are not really competing as much as they are with say The Walking Dead–an actual time slot competitor with Boardwalk that routinely finds over 10 million sets of eyeballs. 
Because Jimmy Kimmel booked Ellen Degeneres to do his show on Monday, he had to do a quick pit stop on Ellen this week where he debuted something he likes to call “The Baby Dance.” It is exactly how it sounds. Here is the footage from Friday’s show where the host challenges America to give up Gangnam Style in favor of something literally anyone can do. 
Emma Stone took to Ellen this week as part of her press tour for Gangster Squad. The actress talked about a number of interesting things including her accent for the film and working with Ryan Gosling for a second time. She also relived a moment from the last time she was on the daytime program during which an apparent staffer randomly danced behind her without her knowledge. 
Not many guests show up on Ellen with a gift, but Timothy Olyphant is not like many guests. The Justified star is probably one of the better appearances that a talk show can land, and the actor proved that this week by giving the former Oscar host something pretty memorable at the top of the interview: name brand underwear. Perhaps the best part of the segment though was the actor railing on his children who do not seem to get how cool he is which is unfathomable. Anyone who has seen Raylan Givens in action would know that, and that as why seeing a daytime appearance to promote the fourth season premiere of Justified is a very good thing in our book.
