Jimmy Kimmel: Eric Stonestreet on Being Drunk at the ‘AMA Awards’

Emmy-winner Eric Stonestreet took to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night.  While the actor has a movie coming out in February (Identity Thief,) this appearance seemed strictly for Modern Family–a show that needs no promotion.  In other words, this was done because nobody wants to chat Thanksgiving week with a talk show host which might explain all the below average bookings on the late night card for the next few days.  This was still pretty good that as it enabled Kimmel the opportunity to confront Stonestreet on his possible drunk presentation at the AMA Awards (part 2.) Official Trailer for ‘The Loft’ Starring Karl Urban, Eric Stonestreet, & James Marsden

The first official trailer for The Loft has just hit the web.  This movie stars Karl Urban, Eric Stonestreet, James Marsden, Wentworth Miller, and Matthias Schoenaerts as five friends who own a loft together where they apparently cheat on their wives and/or girlfriends.  It is a thriller, so obviously things come back to bite them in the end.

The following trailer is one of the red-band variety meaning it is NSFW.  There is some brief nudity and foul language which might be the best way to sell this movie’s creepiness.  Also, Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet does not really appear to have an extensive part judging from this first look which might be a bit disappointing. ‘Modern Family’s’ Eric Stonestreet to Play Fatty Arbuckle in HBO Film’s ‘The Day the Laughter Stopped’

Vulture is reporting today the Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet is set to play Fatty Arbuckle in the HBO film, The Day the Laughter Stopped.  The story of Fatty Arbuckle is one of a Hollywood Legend whose life was ruined when allegations of rape and murder surrounding the actor surfaced.  Even though he was eventually acquitted of the charges, Hollywood had moved on, and to this day, the actor never receives the recognition he deserves.
