A day after the renewal of TNT’s Closer spin-off Major Crimes comes the pickup of a new season for a veteran on the network’s schedule.  They have ordered a third season of Franklin & Bash today which is not exactly shocking.  The Breckin Meyer-Paul Gosselaar-led series averages over 4 million viewers in the summer–a mark that is fairly respectable for any cable channel.  Fans should be advised though that an air date was not mention, so the assumed summer 2013 return might change.  Keep reading for the official press release.
