‘Fringe’ to End with Two-Hour Episode in January 2013

Fox has shed some light on their plans for the end of their cult favorite sci-fi series Fringe.  The network says that the show’s fifth and final season will finish running on Friday, January 18th in a two-hour special.  The episode will also mark the 100th installment of the J.J. Abrams-produced program which will obviously be overshadowed, but it is worth mentioning that the show that has been ‘losing money’ for the past few years has made it to the milestone.  Hit the jump for the details via a press release. ‘Daredevil’ Reboot Gets ‘Fringe’ Writer

It’s Official: Fox Renews Fringe
